A trading short story

 There was a young man who ventured out on to a frozen body of water. He had seen the ice tested by others walking here, so he wanted to go out and have some fun - maybe play some ice hockey. As he stepped the ice completely gave out and the young man was weighed down by his clothes being drenched. With some effort he swam to to the ice, but the ice had frozen over and could not be broken and the inevitable happened. He sank.
