A few words for the new year!

 A quick word or two for the new year. Patience. I was listening to a book that I've listened to several times and read through and today on a day off, I took note of the importance of being patient for your setups and for your prices. Not to push it. We will miss trades but there will be others that will meet the requirements we want.  We must be patient and ready. Ready to pounce. The other things I've been thinking about have to do with the same idea of being patient. More specifically to know what those moments that you are willing to pounce look like. What does the order flow look like? What are the patterns that you like to see? What should your sizing be in each situation? Knowing these things and then waiting patiently to use them when the numbers and patterns align. The image/totem/mascot I've come up with for the year is a dragon turtle. Reserved and protected/protective yet fierce and brave. I'm sure there're more things I could say to liken the dragon turtle to trading, but I'm not going to. I want to look at some more things before the day tomorrow. Cheers. Have a great year!
