Something I want to study - Volume profile/Footprints

 I was just thinking about volume profile today. and how it can be used. And while I don't have any strategies with it other than using it for levels I know there are strategies and patterns that people use. So I would like to learn more about them. I think it is interesting the candlestick volume profile or volume footprint and think it could be useful for short term trading or for entries/exits in general. The whole idea of volume profile is seeing where volume is being done per price (usually the y axis)and helps visualize normal volume bars which are on the x axis and visually better shows the time the volume took place. Then the idea is that you can see where orders are likely clustered and where the price may tend towards (or push away from). So with that, I think it would be worthwhile to learn what certain volume profile patterns can tell us. That's all. just thinking. Are there ways that you like to use volume profile or footprints?
